I had my plants to douse approximately four days. the first layer when the soil is really dry. when several large leaves of the plants will fall down it is a sign that I need to put water. unwanted plant roots become lazy, so my question is whether what I'm doing well good or is this stress on plants?

If you are letting the plant go without water until the leafs start to hang down, that's not good, and will kill off all you lovely hairy little roots that suck up your watrer. Try watering them more often than that.

give water before hanging. You can feel the weight of the pot, if its heavy she doesnt need water when the weight is low you give water. Not enough water is corrected fast. Let her drink water , put the pot in a bucket of water for a few minutes. Most roots are at the bottom of the pot.
