My first attempt at a grow log
Yes she is looking a little stressed, it seems that just about anything causes this one stress. Hopefully this will settle down in time.
Thai
I will try to keep this updated at least once a fortnight.

Wow, you can tell the Thai! Her strong Sativa element is obvious even from her first set of leaves - they're really long and slender for a tiny seedling.
Could be a really nice plant, if female. Do remember that unhybridised Sativas REALLY gain a lot of height in flower. Assuming it's a true Thai, this one should probably be flowered under 15cm if you want to keep the final plant under 150cm. |

Cheers snoopy. Ganga, yeah could be :) im hoping anyway, ill be so gutted if it turns out male. I turned the lights to 12/12 today, the thai has 3 sets of leafs now including its single finger pair and it is about 12cm tall. The diesel seems ready aswell, standing at approx 40 cm. 1.5 meters is about the absolute max hight i can accomdate before heat becomes an issue but i guess i can always bend the thai over if needs must.

I would do that. And I would do some topping before flowering too. How old is that plant?

That really surprised me Proteus I can't think of a reason why it should fail... Apart from needing less ferts than most strains, they aren't anymore difficult to grow than any other ganj plants.
Yeah you sure can... takes me back to the early days when all the seedlings I saw looked like that. All the best for the bloom Proteus. ![]() |

Im not altogether happy with the quality of these pics, better ones soon hopefully :) Still no signs of sex from this little thai. Its looks like every bag seed i have ever grown, (back when weed was crispy and very dark green) except for the colour, its the palest green i have seen. It doesnt seem inclined to make any branches yet....
As you can see the WD has shot up, she is showing many bud sites. Stems seem a bit thin, if she buds like the last one that migth be a problem

Something very stange happened to me last night. It was about 4am, too hot for sleeping. So im sitting there minding my own businsess when, i kid you not, about 30 wasps arrived in my front room. I tryed to retreat to the kitchen but its swarming in there aswell! So im trapped in the corner of my front room, trying to defend myself with a can of lynx and a lighter :( and im starting to think that this migth be a serious problem, i mean i had no way to get them out, when as suddenly as they arrived they all left. Make of that what you will, im just glad i didnt get stung.

Maybe it was a flash mob doing some viral marketing?
Really though, that is a very odd occurrence. Weird enough that they all showed up at the same time, even weirder that they all left together. Actually, that reminds me, they're investigating the training of bees as drug/bomb sniffers (and succeeding). Bees are apparently much more sensitive than dogs in following scents, and they can be trained in just a few days. Maybe your local constabulary is strapped for cash and has had to recruit nasty bastards like wasps. Bees would just be doing their jobs if they found your stash, but I have a feeling wasps would be quite willing to fit a person up. |
