Use of natural fibres in the German automotive production: 160,000 tons of natural fibre composites in 2003

This information was released by the www.nova-institut.de

The use of composites equipped with the reinforcing fibres flax, hemp, jute, kenaf and sisal increased by almost 5% to 45,000 tons from 2002 to 2003. These materials are mainly used in interior door panelings and boot case linings in medium-class and luxury class passenger cars, being characterized by a high mechanical load capacity and a simultaneously low weight.

see for information on the EU hemp industry: www.eiha.org

Greetings,

Alan

we know hemp can substituite new sh*tty plastic materials...

if only we (our grandpas and grandmas) had keep on growing hemp...but unfortunately somebody said that hemp is unhealthy, and so in many lands now (now that we are in "democracy",the same democracy that makes you free...free to be chained) you are wrong, you are illegal, out of law

hemp is a pure, natural and ecologic material

in venice (and also in other sea places) boats use hemp strings, not syntetical!!!

we know how strong these fibres are and the effort they resist....abominevoleeeee

but people is stupid, so stupid to realize in 2004 that hemp "could" substitute other pla$tic & $ynthetic

...nice car...an hemp car...very good smelling.....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

moved by a water engine............gas smells of ganja...ahahaha

bye bye plastic men.....

see you in hell (but keep away from us, we have nothing to do with you)

we can go far away...

Dear Hydrogenum,

I understand that in a few countries in the world hemp is not legal to be grown, still this does not mean that there is not plenty of hemp in the world available (and grandmas and grandpas growing it). In fact like in Europe there is overproduction of fiber. If anybody needs hemp there is thousands of tons of everything (fiber, wood, seed) available. There could even be thousands of tons of this plastic granulates produced already also (if it was not only the German automotive industry using it!). Please realise there is plenty of hemp available in the world we need more people (industry) to buy and use it. So if you need a 100 tons of hemp-plastic granulates to make your own hemp plastic item (now that would make a cool piece of paraphanalia) it is a piece of cake.........the world doesn't need to grow more hemp at this moment .....the world needs to buy and use more hemp to make it work  please check the site from www.eiha.org or our www.hempflax.com

Greetings,

Alan

Hey Alan, Apparently in Florida the democrats are trying to push hemp as a new product to boom the industrial sector. Among other various sh*tty ideas obviously.

I posted the story in 'Latest News'.

Bye
