Thank you for the kind words!

The ladies are doing wonderful. They are yellowing slightly along the lower branches. I realized one of my filters needed to be changed, which made a big difference. The girls are only getting the Roots Organics line. In flower, they receive Humboldt Honey as well as Medi-One. I also put a 2.5-5cm layer of coco coir on top of the soil as they enter flower to prevent soil compaction in addition to its mulching/water retention properties.

I also upgraded to a 1000w Hortilux e-Ballast (with Super HPS), so here's hoping to a bountiful harvest! %3coving%20it

Hope you guys haven't forgotten about me! We've been celebrating the I-502 passage, even over California! True pioneers in the MMJ industry; the eyes of the world are upon us! %3coving%20it

So I've taken 2 of the mothers and threw them into flower last week (November 5). They're in a proprietary soil blend, with a 2-inch coco coir "mulch" layer.

Now that they're in flower, the girls will get a boost of certain things. I've started using Medi-One (only in flower since its so expensive!), Nitrozime, and Humboldt Honey (starting week 3).

Here's some pictures, at the end of week 1. Stay tuned, as I have 8 clones and a mother, and will continue to flower this cultivar until my clones are spent. I will then choose another Sensi cultivar. %3chumbs%20Up

Hello from WA state!

The buds seem to be 'stacking' up pretty tightly at the start of week 3. The internodal distance has shortened significantly. The plants are filling in the screen very nicely. The plant on the right is a bit taller than it's sibling on the left, something the screen should help nicely with as the plant grows.

Enjoy the pictures!

Some more pictures of my Jack Flash #5 girls, on day 1 of Week 4.

My summarization is not needed, since nobody seems to like to interact on this forum. Just enjoy the bud porn.

Here's my Jack Flash #5 garden update at the beginning of Week 5. Lots of resin development going on, and the buds are starting to pop and swell! Enjoy the pictures...

Gorgeous plants, good job mate
I especially like the coir mulch. It's such a beneficial thing to do.

Best of luck for the rest of your grow

I thought coco coir sounded like a great idea myself! I found that using dirt with no mulch layer isn't the best idea for many reasons, the main reason being that the roots have more room to grow to the top of the soil (beneath the layer of mulch), whereas roots wouldn't grow there prior to mulching.
The downside to mulching so far as I've encountered is that coco coir tends to dehydrate very quickly, so you may have to feed your plants slightly more than they normally get.

I also swear by pH balancing the nutrient solution AFTER mixing it, BEFORE you give it to the plants! They say cannabis plants can stay between 5.9-6.9, but I usually get my solution to be around 6.3-6.8. I can't say they don't like it! %3coving%20it

Thanks for the kind words, I hope to have some more pictures posted next week.
